PLATE-SUPPORTED DRUM SCREENS
PURPOSE AND APPLICATIONS
This plate-mounted, self-supporting drum screen is used to screen small or medium flows of water for industrial or water-treatment plants It is a fully standardised design and is not designed to be customized. It is meant for sites with little or no water level variations.
DESCRIPTION
Two layouts are possible:

The drum is mounted on a wall-plate which is slid into guides on each side of the shallow water channel. The water flows around the drum through the mesh and on through the water plate center aperture. For more details, refer to the outside-to-inside flow pattern drum screen.

The drum is mounted on a wall-plate which is slid into guides on each side of the shallow water channel. The water flows through the water plate center aperture then into the drum screen through the mesh. It exits below and on either side of the drum screen. For more details, refer to the inside-to-outside flow pattern drum screen.
